What do we look for in the woods?
lots of autumn leaves
acorns
beechnuts
chestnuts
lanterns
crab apples
twigs
berries
September is still a warm month so today we will search for lots of nice autumn leaves! If there are no nearby trees make an excursion to park or forest with your little monsters. There is always a place in the city where trees are. Kids will have an adventure, they go on a treasure hunt.
When in the forest search for leaves but also for acorns with hats.
Maybe you also find some different types of pine cones.
Chestnuts big and shiny we found just lying in the street!
Blown off twigs in autumn we can also put to good use.
Chestnuts in the bolster you don't find that often they break when they touch ground.
No painter can improve the colors of nature.
These lanterns really belong in October, with their bright orange color.
The blown off branches look beautiful in a vase combined with some flowers as well. If everything is displayed on our desk it looks so cosy, we don't want to tidy the beautiful autumn treasures.
