With Halloween coming up we like to make our own decorations, we do that with origami paper ot folding squares. Because the folding work is cut, it is not called Origami (paper folding art) but Kirigami (paper cutting art). We fold and cut cobwebs and make a simple spider, just for fun :))

How to make cobwebs, with a spider

Place the paper diagonal before you, on a table.

Fold it double, upward.

Turn it upside down and fold it right to left.

Fold two times, again from right to left.

Cut the top straight off.

Cut the top a little round.

Fold your work open and press it smooth.

Cut as many cobwebs as you like.

Now we make the spider

Take a felt ball, a pipecleaner and two eyes.

Cut a piece from the pipecleaner then cut it into four pieces.

Twist the small piece around the 4 pieces you cut.

Stick the eyes onto the felt ball.

Allow the glue to dry well then spread out the spider's legs

Bend the legs of the spider so you can hook them on the web.

This is how your spider will look, sitting in his cobweb.

String the cobwebs on a thread and then you can hang them with some push pins.

We wish you all a Happy Halloween!
