Today we are reading a very pretty picture book to the mini monsters and it is called The Prince Child. The book is beautifully illustrated by Martijn van der Linden and written by his partner Maranke Rinck. The story is a parody on The Frog Prince, which doesn't appeal that much to the little monsters, but the intriguing illustrations with the brilliant headdresses on unusual animals make it a very special reading experience.
With the holidays approaching, we would like to put the beautiful picture book in the spotlight. You should be so lucky to get it as a gift from the good Sinterklaas or find it under the Christmas tree! Anyway, we would like to warmly recommend Het Prinsenkind!
