This easy to read boek by Alex Milway in the Hotel Flamingo series is again very funny. Carnival is coming, Julia and the animals of Hotel Flamingo are extremely busy. They will participate in the big Carnival Parade and hotel guests are arriving from all over. They come to celebrate carnival, watch the Parade or to participate in it. When the world-famous band De Nachtdieren (The Night Animals) also comes to stay at the hotel, all kinds of unexpected things happen!
The pink/gray/white illustrations are drawn in comic book style but the monsters really like them. Part 4 of the Flamingo series is all in all a funny book again. But all in all, the out-loud readers are not fans of long stretched series and it looks like this will be another one. We'll see.
