How to make Snowwhite and the 7 dwarfs
We start with the dwarfs:
because they walk through the forest every day, muted colors are useful for them. So we choose 7 different forest colors.
Paint the bodies of the gnomes.
Orange is too bright, we mix with brown.
All bodies a colour? Let it dry!
Tips
- After each painting each colour, let the paint dry really well before starting a new color.
- With small bits to paint you not only support your painting hand on your work surface, but also the hand that holds your pegdoll.
Mix ocre with white for the dwarf's heads.
Paint all the dwarf's heads and necks in this colour.
While the heads dry you paint Snowwhite's skirt yellow.
Allow for Snow White's head to dry well first.
Now paint the blue body of the dress.
Draw a line around the dwarfs.
Paint pants on the other 6 dwarfs.
Draw legs and feet on the dry paint.
Fill all with paint then allow the paint to dry again.
Paint Snowwhite's hair black and her collar white.
Allow the paint to dry well again.
Stick a red ribbon on Snowwhite's hair.
Stick beards on all the dwarfs, except for Dopey..
Sew hats from felt for the dwarfs. (ON the PDF)
Paint sweet faces on the pegdolls.
The mini-monsters think the dolls are very cute!
