Michael Hall, an American graphic designer - who decided at one point that he preferred to make children's books - wrote and illustrated this brilliant book It's an Orange Aardvark! The book more than derserves to be in Snazzie's English books month of November! Graphically it is a very beautiful, colourful book, the illustrations are slick and simple but very appealing.
The story is very funny but also exciting. The ants wear coloured hard hats because they are carpenter ants and they live in a tree stump. When they hear a strange noise outside the stump they want to know what it means, so they make a hole in the trunk.
How will the story of the cute ants end? We know but we don't reveal it ;)) Buy the book or borrow it from the library but read it (to your mini-monsters(s)). Not only little mini-monsters enjoy this book, so do we!
