150g prosciutto
½ Charentais melon
½ Galia melon
handful rocket leaves
100g pecorino cheese
sea salt and black pepper
virgin olive oil
This tasty salad is after a recipe by British chef James Martin. With the melon, Italian cured ham and cheese - mostly because of the sweet melon ;) - it is a favorite dish of the snazzie mini-monsters. The salad is easy to make, quickly ready and looks stunning, understandably you find it often on our dinner table.
How to make the salad
Remove the skin and seeds from the melons.
Slice the melons thinly.
Arrange the melon neatly on a platter.
Make rolls of ham and arrange them on the platter too.
Sprinkle the salad with rocket leaves.
Shave the pecorino on top of the salad.
Give sea salt, pepper and olive oil on the side.
