Christmas eve? Hot chocolate

with peppermint!

200g Tony's chocolate (milk or dark)
600 ml semi skimmed milk
150ml double or single cream
bag of mini marshmallows
6 candy canes

Lovely on Christmas Eve, drinking hot chocolate together with the mini-monsters! To go with it we have some leftover cranberry bread, we baked it yesterday already. So delicious!

How to make Christmas hot chocolate for 6 regular or 3 large cups

Melt the chocolate au bain marie.

Pour the melted chocolate in a pan.

Stir in the milk.

Bring the milk to the boil.

Do not allow the chocolate milk to boil, heat it thoroughly on lowest heat

Remove the hot chocolate from the heat, stir in the cream.

Decorate the cups with mini marshmallows and candy canes.

The longer you stir with your candy cane, the more your taste the peppermint flavour
