Now that it's autumn again, we read Kikker en de Kleuren (Frog and the Colours) to the kids, a beautiful autumn book by Wilma Degeling. The book is published by Christofoor, they make wonderful children's books. It is not your average picture book, with colourful illustrations and a few lines of a story on each page, but more of an illustrated reading book. The story is substantial and it really is about something. Frog worries, just like children sometimes do.

The atmospheric drawings by Veronica Nahmias, colourful pictures on which the animals have fun and sit cozily together, are very attractive to the mini-monsters. They merge perfectly with the story.
