Small in the city

We read a special, sensitive, beautifully written, wintery picture book: Small in the big city. The book was written and illustrated by Canadian author Sydney Smith and has received many awards.

In our opinion, quite rightly so, because it is a wonderful book for both the mini-monsters and their readers!

We have already recommended Sidewalk Flowers on snazzie. also a wonderful picture book. Though written by Jonarno Lawson, the brilliant, unique illustrations are by Sydney Smith. Keep your eye on this illustrator, more books with his  beautiful artwork are coming soon!
