Toadstool home

If a new baby is making it's entrance into the family it's fun for the kids to make little baby gifts. Like these toadstools for instance. Big and small kids can join in, they're so easy to make.

But.....working with a glue gun is only for adults. So either glue yourself or give the kids a child friendly glue to use, they work as well.

How to make the toadstools

Cut the balls in two halves.

Trace the lid on the underside of the ball.

Cut out the cirkel so the lid fits in.

Paint the top of the ball.

Glue the lid in the hole.

Let the glue dry thoroughly.

Stick dots on the hood with some glue.

Now you can keep small things in 'the stem'.

Make a pink toadstool for a girl.

For a baby boy we use blue paint.

Put baby cotton swabs, old fashioned safety pins or tiny buttons in the toadstools and they make a sweet gift.
