When our mini-monsters have visited Grandma and their uncle and aunties in Taiwan during the summer vacation, they always bring sweet gifts back for us. Nice baking materials, local delicacies like the traditional pinapple cakes, tea or, like this time, a special coffee. Everything they bring is always beautifully packaged, the eye also wants to be pleased in Taiwan!
How to make Gayo Coffee
Gayo Coffee is hip, it's called drip coffee in Taiwan and it's very popular.
It is also very easy to use, unfold and place it on a cup.
Cut off the top then pour boiling water on the coffee.
This Gayo coffee from Taiwan (imported from Indonesia) is actually made in the same way as our old-fashioned Dutch filter coffee used to be made. But we must admit it is a lot hipper than a cup of Douwe Egberts!
Wait for the coffee to drip through and discard the packaging.
The coffee is ready, we have a tasty pineapple cake to go with it!
