4 sheets gelatin
200g cottage cheese
150g organic yogurt
200g double cream
50g icing sugar
3 tablespoons lemon juice
100g double cream + 1 tablespoon caster sugar
100g strawberries
Today a luxurious dessert of cottage cheese, yogurt and... whipped cream all together it's called cottage cheese mousse. With lemon juice it becomes a nice and fresh dessert and the strawberries on it finish it off. Not only tasty but also a picture, so beautiful!
How to make this cottage cheese mousse
Soak the gelatine leaves 10 minutes.
Beat the 200g cream until stiff.
Cover the cream and put it into the fridge.
Put the cottage cheese and yogurt in a big bowl.
Add icing sugar and lemon juice.
Beat it all until combined, set aside.
Squeeze out the gelatine.
Warm 5 tablespoons of water, dissolve the gelatine in it.
Stir the gelatine into 3 tablespoons of yogurt mixture.
Stire the mixture into the yoghurt mixture in the large bowl.
Also fold the whipped cream into the yoghurt mixture.
Gently stir the mousse until smooth.
Pour it into the pots.
Lid on top and into the fridge.
Allow the mousse to set overnight in the fridge
Tap the mousse out of the pots and serve with halved strawberries.
The small quark mousse is for a young mini monster.
Even if you put the jars in warm water, the quark mousse will be difficult to get out. Serving in the jar is the easiest solution.
