From the library, our little monsters chose Lichtjes voor Sint Maarten (Lights for Martinmas) by Jannine Staring and Martine van Nieuwenhuyzen. The book looks cozy and they like to read about the lantern parade. They don't like the story very much, an annoying teasing gnome and the open ending. The lantern procession they like very much of course!
Too bad, but may tastes differ. Maybe your snazzie listener / reader will really like this book, it is often lent out by the library! Unfortunately not translated into English.
