Today we are making another fun craft from OERRR, a bark bundle. We make prints of various tree barks with crayons and collect those prints in a bundle. We use coloured cardboard for the bundle and white paper for the print.
We use a hole punch for the holes and lace a ribbon through it. That's how you collect the prints and you can add them every time you make new ones. At the same time you learn to recognize many trees, such fun!
How to make a bark bundle
This is an Acacia.
These are Acacia leaves.
This is a tree in our neighbourhood.
These are the leaves.
Press white paper against the tree trunk.
Rub your crayon firmly over the paper.
This way you make a pretty print from the bark.
How to make a bundle
Take a stack of cardboard, punch in holes.
String a ribbon through, and make a knot.
We stick a picture on the top sheet.
Let the glue dry.
Stick in de prints.
We dry the leaves.
Put empty white paper in the back.
- This way you can keep the prints neatly and we will make some again next time
- When the leaves have dried, we stick them with the bark and then you bark bundle becomes more and more beautiful
