Because the HEKTAR box is printed on the outside in two places, we cover it. The printing is on the top and the back of the box. The inside of the box is brown so we will be covering that with paint today.
The back of the box.
The top of the box.
Trace the box on white carton.
Cut the two pieces out.
Stick the carton on the back of the box.
Save sticking the top cardboard on for last.
Place a heavy book on top until the glue is dry.
We cover the inside of the box with black carton, we elevate the bottom and make two ledges on the inside of the oven to carry the wire rack.
Measure 23x23+7.5cm on both sides, mark it.
Connect all the lines with a pencil.
Cut the carton on the outer line.
Rill the line on both sides with scissors.
If you bent the carton on both rills you have the raised bottom.
Flatten the carton again and paint it two times black on 1 side.
Cut two pieces of carton 23x11cm and paint them black.
Draw a line in the middle of the back with pencil.
Make a rill on the pencil line with the scissors.
Paint one half, leave the other half bare.
While the paint dries we cover the inside, the oven.
Trace one side of the box 3 times.
Cut the 3 pieces black cardboard out.
Spread glue onto the 3 pieces of cardboard.
Glue them to the inside of the oven.
Glue the raised bottom in place as well.
Fold the oven ledges on the rill.
Stick them on the inside of the box.
Spread glue onto the legs with a piece of cardboard.
Press the legs firmly onto the corners of the box.
We are getting along nicely, the inside and the outside of the stove look neat now. The small parts are ready. What we need now are a pot rack on top of the stove and an oven door. But we continue in the weekend, then we finish the little stove.
