It's almost Animal Day and October is also the month of Halloween. So why not craft a gift for your animal that is also for Halloween? Handy!! We make a haunted house that doubles as a picture frame, your animal will enjoy it twice and so will you!
How to make a haunted house picture frame
Stick a row of popsicle sticks on cardboard.
Stick a few shorter sticks on top.
Glue 6 sticks vertical, like a roof.
Let the glue dry first.
When the glue has thoroughly dried cut away the cardboard around the house
Paint the house in a Halloween colour.
Paint the roof black.
Cut sticks short to make a window.
Snap off two pieces of popsicle stick to make a sign on the house
Paint the window and sign.
Stick both on the house.
Write a message on the sign.
Cut out Halloween figures.
Our figures are on the PDF that you can download and trace or you can draw your own, give them eyes etc using a felt-tip pen
Glue a loop on the back of your Haunted House, if you like.
Stick the Halloween figures on picture frame and slide in a picture.
