As fans of Oerrr - the children's department of Natuurmonumenten - we like to make the crafts they come up with. They are always nature crafts, which we like and they are often very useful too. Like this bird feeding board. Now that it is getting colder outside, the birds find fewer insects to eat, so theyreally enjoy a tasty snack in the garden!
How you make this bird feeding board
Break the walnuts open, in two halves.
Place the half walnuts on the board.
Mark you board on the right length.
Saw the board off on the pencil marking.
Drill two holes at the top.
Thread a string through the holes.
Squeese dots of glue from your glue gun.
Press 2 walnut halves into the glue at a time.
Find a sheltered place in your garder or on your balcony.
You will see that it will soon be pleasantly busy at your Bird Feeding Board!
