What do you need?
ready made pom-poms, lots of green / 1 big red one
a green pipe cleaner
two small pieces of coulored pipe cleaner
coloured pieces of felt
scissors
glue
nylon thread
Thread the pom-poms from big to small on a skewer.
Replace the skewer by a pipe cleaner, thread the pompoms on it through the holes.
Lastly stick on the big red pom-pom (the head) and glue it.
Cut out of felt two big eyes and a small nose, glue them on the head.
Stick with a drop of glue two short pieces pipe cleaner in the head like antennae.
Cut out of the brown felt 12 little feet and stick them to the caterpillars body.
Tie a nylon thread on to The Very Hungry Caterpillar then you can hang it in your room.
