1 teaspoon whole wheat flour
1/4 teaspoon peanut butter
1 teaspoon water
1 full teaspoon pumpkin, grated
To surprise our little hamster Hammie on Animal Day we make a pumpkin pie for her. After all, October is also the month of Halloween. The recipe is very easy, the mini monsters can do it themselves, we only grate the pumpkin. Fortunately, Hammie was asleep when the cake went into her cage. Because a whole pie is probably enough food for a whole week! ;)
How to make a Pumpkin Pie for your hamster
Grate a piece of pumpkin.
Flour and peanutbutter in a bowl.
Stir it firmly together.
Knead it by hand.
Roll the dough to 1 cm thickness.
Cut out a small circle.
Press it into a baking mold.
Fill the dough with pumpkin.
Cut out the top of the pie.
Cut out a pumpkin face.
Press the top onto the pie.
Preheat the oven to 150°C
Bake the pie for 10 minutes then let it cool completely.
