It seems like there is no end to our autumn treasures :)) the little ones are having a lot of fun with it. We already made fun deer with branches and twigs this month and today we are making little fireflies. Although little firelies? They are just as big as the deer, but no one objects to that.
How to make fireflies from pine cones
Paint the points of the pine cones.
Let the paint dry well for a moment.
Cut two pieces of wire to be feelers.
Bend the wires between the pin cones, on the wide side.
Stick the eyes under the feelers.
Allow the glue to dry a tick.
Paint the feelers black.
Let the paint dry again.
Draw the wings.
Cut out the wings.
Stick them behind the wings.
Let the glue dry for another moment ;))
The little monsters look for a nice and cozy spot for the fireflies.
They put down leaves for the fireflies and a bench to sit on...it looks really pretty already!
