What do you need?
an empty egg carton, large or small
scissors
colored acrylic paint
gold paint
brushes
matching colors of tissue paper
hobby glue
Little white pumpkins
piece of black cardboard and hole punch
a pink pipe cleaner and wire cutters
Yesterday, on Animal Day, we discussed the book I love my pet fish. So nice, because we have a small aquarium now, so we also have to take good care of the fish. We have Guppies, Neon Tetras and 2 Catfish, no Goldfish. That's why we make our own Goldfish ;)
How to make goldfish
Cut out 3 egg cups.
Paint the cups in pretty colours.
Let the paint dry well.
Paint thinly gold paint here and there and let the paint dry well again
Fold the tissue paper on your index finger.
Twist the bottom and stick in the cups.
Allow the glue to dry completely.
Stick the pompoms on the goldfish.
Punch circles out of black cardstock with the perforator and stick them on the eyes
Cut a pipecleaner, roll around a pencil and stick on.
Let the glue dry for a little while and your goldfish is ready!
