How you can make an orange Princess dress too
Cut for the skirt two strips velvet of 26x100cm, from tulle two of 52x100cm.
Cut for the bodice a strip velvet of 65 x 30 cm, fold the strip in half lengthwise.
Work the strips of velvet around with a zigzag stitch and sew a hem in the skirt.
Place the folded tulle on the velvet skirt and pin it on.
Gather the skirt by hand, pull the basting thread through.
The skirt is almost ready now.
Fold the bodice on both short sides 2cm in, pin it.
Stitch the pinned sides and the bodice is ready. Stitch on two pieces off velcro.
Thread by hand with big stitches the skirt onto the bodice.
Stitch the skirt on the bodice with the sewing machine. Cut and pull out the first thread.
Sew on two red/white/blue ribbon shoulder straps with a few stitches and the dress is ready!
Because our little princess is here today she can show the princess dress herself. But watch out ... it fits Teddy too!
