coloured craft cardboard
pencil and a metal ruler
scissors or knife
hobby glue
adhesive letters
crafted insects ;))
1 fish
In January we made a lot of insects from egg cartons and now we have found a good destination for them. We make letter cards so that we can practice the letters in a playful way with the youngest mini-monsters. We practice the words with the somewhat older monsters. It's just a pity that our letters are capital letters. We actually want to change that. We're also adding last week's bugs and making a few more next week.
How to make letter cards
Measure a 15x15cm square.
Draw the square.
Cut it out.
Make as many squares as you like.
Stick on the names of the insects. Fish???
Insects? The mini-monsters love the fish!
Stick the insects (+ fish) on the cards.
Hang a different letter every week.
Start with the shortest words, like bee or fish :))
