icing sugar
fondant icing, yellow and orange
piece of black and white fondant icing
small piece of pink fondant icing

optional:
100 ml double cream
3/4 tablespoon fine sugar

How to make lions of the cupcakes

Dust a baking mat with icing sugar.

Allow the cupcakes to cool.

Roll out yellow fondant icing.

Cut out circles.

Cut out serrated orange circles.

The fondant icing lies on icing sugar, that's why you can stick all the parts firmly together with just a few drops of water

Keep these parts loose for now.

Roll a fondant snake.

Break off pieces and fold double.

Flatten the ends of the ears then stick the face on the mane, with the ears in between

Roll 12 balls and stick them on.

Cut out 12 eyes using a straw.

Roll pupils and stick on the eyes.

Cut black triangle noses.

Cut out pink tongues using a knife.

Stick on noses and tongues.

Optional you can whip double cream

Beat the cream with the sugar until stiff.

Make holes in the cupcakes.

Fill the holes with whipped cream.
