What do you need?
a sheet of yellow craton
a sheet of brown carton
pieces blue and black carton
piece of light yellow carton
hobby glue & clothes pegs
a transparent printer sheet
a large white adhesive label, or small ones
pencil & ruler
scissors
Copy the template on de PDF on carton, cut out.
Score the lines which are being folded.
Pull closed scissors firmly over de lines.
The carton will fold now easy and tight.
Spread glue on the edges.
Press them firmly in place.
Let the glue to dry with clothes pegs on.
Draw a square and cut it out.
Make 4 lines at 6 cm from the edges.
Score each line then cut until you reach the square in the center.
Allow the glue to dry well, put pegs on the glued areas.
Slide the backside on the bee.
Cut 2 long brown strips.
Stick them on, around the bee.
The body is ready now, while the glue dries we cut single and double cubes of 2x2cm.
Cut feelers and blue eyes.
Stick the face on the bee.
Cut 6 pieces of thick cardboard, 4x2cm.
Cut 12 4x2cm brown cardstock.
Cut 6x yellow cardstock, 6x8cm.
Fold and glue the legs.
Stick the legs on the bee.
Slide the backside off the Bee, then you can press the legs firmly on!
How to make the wings
Cut out the template.
Tape it to the printer sheet.
Cut out 2 transparent wings.
Draw cubes on the label.
Draw cubes of 2x2cm and strips of 4x2cm on the adhesive label, cut them out then stick them on the wings
Stick 2 brown cubes on each wing and stick them on the bee.
Hide a nice present in the bee and there it goes!
