175g butter, chopped
150g dark chocolate
250g light brown soft sugar
85g self-raising flour
50g cocoa powder
3 large eggs , beaten
100g milk chocolate, in pieces (75/25g)
24 mini chocolate eggs, to decorate
Easter is coming and we are looking for the tastiest recipes, together with the mini monsters. Brownies are a favorite of young and old, we choose mini's with extra chocolate and mini Easter eggs on top. Success assured!
How to make mini-sized Extra Chocolate Brownies
Start with the preparation
Place the paper cases in a baking tray.
Chop both chocolates into pieces.
Sift flour, cocoa and salt together.
Put butter, sugar, dark chocolate in a pan.
Place the pan over low heat and keep stirring until the butter and sugar have melted
Allow the chocolate to cool slightly.
Beat the egg until loose.
Now all is ready to make the batter.
Preheat the oven to 180°C / 160°C Fan
Stir the chocolate into the flour mixture.
Stir in the beaten eggs as well.
Stir the batter until combined.
Fold in 75g of the milk chocolate pieces.
Set the remaining 25g milk chocolate pieces aside
Fill the cases with batter.
Bake the brownies for 12-15 minutes.
Let cool in the baking tray for 10 minutes.
Melt the 25g milk chocolate au bain marie.
Transfer the brownies to a wire rack.
Stir the melted chocolate.
Spoon some on the brownies.
Press mini eggs into the chocolate and allow the chocolate to set
