Shopping list for six people
14 l double cream light
180 gram dark chocolate (72%)
1 cup fresh espresso
1 tub vanilla ice cream
1 tub chocolate ice cream
chocolate coffe beans to decorate
A lovely ice cream dessert from the USA that's super easy to make is this Mocha Choca Surprise. Kids can make it without any assistance except for the chocolate melting. Delicious but not suitable for Weight Watchers!
How to make Choca Moca
Break the chocolate into pieces.
Melt the chocolate au bain marie.
Measure 50 ml double cream.
Remove the chocolate from the heath.
Let the chocolate cool somewhat before you stir in the non-beaten cream. Leave out the coffee for kids.
Stir in the espresso as well.
Put the chocolate sauce in the fridge.
Beat the remaining cream into stiff peaks.
Take the ice cream out of the freezer and let it soften.
Put 3 half scoops ice cream of your choice in each glass.
Pour some chocolate/coffe sauce on to your taste.
Stir ice cream and sauce together till smooth and scoop cream on it.
Decorate the Choca Mocha Surprise with the coffee beans and a straw.
