As our loyal readers know, we at snazzie love to visit museums and the Netherlands has a lot of them (lucky for us!)! Often we start a bolg with: One of the most beautiful - or interesting, most special, exciting, thrilling - museums is ... but actually there are so many, it depends on what you like.
It's difficult to choose if you like many various things but now and then we try to put a fun museum in the spotlight. Today it is Naturalis, Center for Biodiversity.
We wrote earlier about the arrival of world famous T Rex Trix at Naturalis, but not about the museum as such.

The museum is still closed but in the summer vacation you can go and see GIF (Poison), a not to be missed exhibition with live animals (see the video on the right). Naturalis researcher and poison expert dr. Freek Vonk gives you a glimpse into the world of poison. There are demonstrations by the caretakers of the poisonous animals and you can win a nice prize by participating in a family quest.
We will definitely check it out, maybe we will meet there, in Leiden!
