A lot of the humor will be missed by the mini-monsters, but it makes reading it to them even more fun for adults. The book is inspired by their own little French buldog Mabel. A super spoiled dog with her own wardrobe, manis and pedis and she even has a private therapist.
The terrific illustrations by Dan Krall make Mabel a force to be reckoned with, adorable but with a backbone of steel. His drawings fit the underlying wicked humour of the book perfectly. After all, the book is not called Naughty Mabel for no reason!
