The Birthday treat for April is a bird's nest that is also fun for Easter on April 5th. They are tasty, quick and easy to make with kids and they look pretty. Stacking and sticking, that's all!
How to make the nests
Melt the chocolate au bain marie.
Spread melted chocolate on the biscuits.
Press a meringue on the chocolate.
Drip chocolate on the wreaths.
Press the chocolate eggs on the rim and in the nests.
Dip the chicks feet in melted chocolate.
Press a chick on the rim of every nest.
According to the girls, something is missing.
You can brush some edible glitter on the nests ;D
Eefje is working seriously hard. She's making the most beautiful nests.
