April, May is the best time for the garden, all flower bulbs are now above the ground. And all trees and shrubs are sprouting and getting more leaves every day. The sun is already shining nice and warm and we can sow something again. Most of the seedlings are still inside, but chives are actually sprouting in the cold, so it is herb the first to go outside.
From left to right you see the Juneberry Tree, full in the bud. Then an old-fashioned English border plant, whose name I have not remembered and the lovely blue-purple flowers of the Periwinkle. But very special, the first peony has already sprouted from the ground!
The flower bulbs have been in the ground for years and we enjoy them a lot every year. The beautiful pink tulips, bluebells and the lapwing flowers, so pretty!
More tulips, daffodils, lapwing flowers and grape hyacinths.
Here you see the budding Ribes, just like the Clematis in which the flower buds are also formed at the same time as the leaves. The Spirea is already in bloom!
The violet is from last year and now it is blooming again. Finally, the star of our garden: the Raspberry. You can already see tiny raspberry buds appearing there. The mini monsters love it, they can't wait to pick raspberries again but they have to be patient for a little while longer ;)
Happy Spring everyone!
