250 gram caster sugar
1 sachet of vanilla sugar
250 gram butter (room temp.)
3 free range eggs (room temp.)
250 gram self raising flour
4 tablespoons milk (room temp.)
to decorate
orange, yellow, black marzipan
red, white, blue marzipan
ready made icing
1/8 l of double cream and 1 sachet of klopfix
orange sugar sprinkles
Sabine Bear is already very much looking forward to King's Day! She's put on her little crown, her orange dress on and she has put on (her friend Bob's) cool, orange sunglasses. She looking so cute, let's make bear make cupcakes, for King's Day!
How to make orange Bear Cupcakes
First bake the vanilla cupcakes, download our basic recipe
Let the cupcakes cool completely.
Drill a hole in the cupcakes.
Fill the holes with whipped cream.
Cut out orange fondant icing circles.
Press the orange circles on top of the cream on the cupcakes.
Stick the circles on the cupcakes.
.Roll balls of yellow fondant icing.
Cut the balls in half, shape bear heads.
Roll 2 little balls, the ears.
Press well in the middle.
Roll red, white and blue fondant.
Cut strips and press together.
Stick a little piece of orange fondant in the middle of the bows
Stick the heads, ears and bows on top of the cupcakes.
Cut strips of orange fondant and cut a triangle out of the middle.
Shape the undersides round, using your fingers, we're making sunglasses :)
Cut small rectangles of black fondant and stick them on.
Stick the sunglasses on the bear's heads.
Stick the sides on the sunglasses.
Fill a bowl with whipped cream to go with the cupcakes.
We go and get the tea set and brew a pot of tea.
