With a sheat of sturdy drawing paper and some paint you can make funny animals. If you glue a little spring between head and body the head kan wobble. Today we make a little fox but later on we make a bunny in the same manner. We have to only use an other head so that's easy.
If you download our template you have fox and bunny together, so you can start right away!
How to make Fox
Draw a line over the width of an A4 paper at 10 cm high.
Cut the paper straight on the pencil line.
Measure 4 times 5 cm and mark it with a pencil, on up and downside.
Draw lines to connect the marks.
Crease all 4 lines with closed scissors
Fold the paper on the 4 creases which leaves a glue strip of 1 cm.
Cut out the fox his head and his four paws.
Mix red and yellow with drops of blue paint until you get a reddish brown.
Stamp the paint with a paintbrush onto the body.
That's how to create a mixed coloured fluffy fur effect.
Paint the head and paws in the same manner on both sides.
Paint with white paint eyes, a muzzle and jabot on the fox.
Use green and black to finish his eyes and paint his nose.
Spread glue on the strip and stick the fox's body together.
Stick the paws with some glue on the body, use an all purpose glue.
Place the body flat on the table and fold it on de sides.
The fox his body should look like it does in the picture.
Remove the little spring from an empty ball point.
Cut the little spring with tongs in two halves.
Use a glue pistol - or it won't stick - to glue the spring on the back of the head.
Attach with a big dollop glue the other side of the spring to the body.
Leave the glue to dry and your fox is ready, now his head can wobble.
