! We make a lot of dough so we can also use it to bake moon biscuits tomorrow !
These planets biscuits are a great success with the mini-monsters and they fit in perfectly with our June theme: Space! What more do we want? That they are easy to make and taste delicious, of course. But indeed they do, because we use our basic vanilla biscuit recipe. And super fun ... the cookies become more beautiful and more beautiful once you are busy!
How to make planets cookies
Stir the baking powder into the flour.
Mix the butter with the sugar until fluffy.
Add the egg and mix it in, then add the vanilla.
Add the sieved flour mixture in parts to the butter mixture.
Quickly fold in the flour mixture.
Knead briefly by hand.
Roll the dough into a ball.
Wrap the dough in cling film, put it in a clean bowl then place it for at least 2 hours - preferably overnight - in the fridge.
Roll out the dough to 1 cm thickness.
Cut out circles in various sizes.
Find little circle cutters.
Put the circles on waxed paper.
Preheat the oven to 170°C
Put the biscuits another 30 mins. in the fridge.
Bake the biscuits in 10 - 12 minutes golden.
Allow to cool on a wire rack.
