The children in Puk's class all received a sunflower seed from Miss, to take home with them. To sow it at home and watch the seed grow into a beautiful, tall sunflower. Start by planting the seed in a planting pot, letting it germinate and watching it grow into a small plant. After the Ice Saints (mid-May, when the chance of (night) frost is very small) you put the plant outside, in the open ground.
How to take good care of a seed
This seed came out of the school bag.
You need soil, a scoop and a pot .
Fill the pot with soil and place the pot on a saucer.
Make a well of 1.5cm deep in the center of the pot.
Cover the well and make the soil moist.
Place the pot with the little seed in the window., in a sunny spot
Place a watering can next to the pot, so you can moisten the soil every other day
Meanwhile we make a fun sign to stick in the plant pot :))
