Homemade chocolate mousse tastes so much better than ready-bought. It really takes little effort!
How to make chocolate mousse
Bring some water to the boil and place a bowl on the pan.
Melt the butter together with the chocolate pieces.
Stir the chocolate and butter smooth with a whisk.
Add a teaspoon of vanilla essence to the melted chocolate.
Measure a 100 ml from the cold cream, pour it with the chocolate en stir it in.
Then the chocolate is less hot when we mix it with the cream.
Pour the remaining 400 ml cream into a big bowl which has to be as cold as possible.
Add the chocolate mix.
Beat it together with a mixer.
A mousse should be light
but don't beat it to stiff.
Spoon the chocolate mousse into cups, cover them and place it overnight in the fridge to stiffen.
Beat the extra cream stiff, spoon it onto the mousse, strike it off. Decorate by placing an Easter chocolate on top.
