The farm becomes more and more fun to play with, because we make all kinds of indispensable items for the farmer. Such as two large crates in which the harvest goes to the factory. Or a stool that is used for cow milking. A slightly larger project is making bulkheads in the barn, in which the farmer can stable his animals in or his tractors, just what he wants!

How to make two large crates

Saw from the 2 mm slat 12 slats of 6.5 cm and 12 of 7.5 cm.

Saw from the 9 x 9 mm 8 pieces of 2.5 cm.

Saw from the MDF 2 squares of 7.5 x 7.5 cm.

Glue the 2.5 cm pieces on the corners of the MDF.

Glue on each crate 6 smaller and 6 larger slats.

Allow the glue to dry really well.

Varnish the crates clear.

How to make a milking stool

Saw off 3 legs of  2 - 2.5 cm.

Sand the leggs.

Stick the legs on.

Allow the glue to dry well.

How to make bulkheads in the barn

Draw 3 rectangles 6 x 11 cm on MDF.

Saw them off then sand them.

Saw 24 slats of 11 cm.

Sand all the sides you saw off neatly smooth.

Saw quart round in pieces of 11 cm.

Saw 3 beams of 6.5 cm.

Paint all quart-round yellow ochre.

Stick 4 slats each side of the MDF.

Paint the slats and the beams dark green.

Glue the yellow ochre plinths under the slats.

Glue the beams on the front of the bulkheads.

Glue the bulkheads in the barn.

It's looking good already!

Next week week we continue with the farm. See you then!
