So cozy, autumn has started again and so are our hunts for autumn treasures. We have already spotted a lot of mushrooms in the forest, but unfortunately, we searched for the red-and-white-dots mushroom in vain. Still, autumn has just begun so we are not giving up yet!

But because the patience of our smallest of our mini-monsters is still small too, we've made the dotted toadstools ourselves. Our toddlers are very happy with them, especially now that they are on the autumn table, with a gnome and their other Autumn treasures around it!

Cut off a strip of white crepe paper wider than the toilet roll.

Stick the strip around the roll, then fold the top and bottom in.

Cut off a thin strip of white crepe paper and fold it in half.

Cut triangles in the strip then stick it on the roll.

Trace a circle on red cardstock.

Cut out the circle.

Cut the circle to the center point.

Slide the cut parts of the circle over each other and glue them together. Slide a large paper clip over the seam and allow the glue to dry well.

While the glue is drying the mini-monsters have much fun using the hole puncher!

Punch holes and stick the dots on the red circle.

Spread glue on top of the stem then stick on the cap.

Again allow the glue on the toadstool to dry well.

Now we put the toadstool in a nice spot on the Autumn table!
