rolled fondant in various colours

pinch of cocoa
powdered sugar to dust

Use the cookie cutters from
yesterday to cut out fondant icing

Some of the biscuits we baked yesterday have already disappeared, but that's a good sign :) We still have enough biscuits left to decorate them with icing fondant, a fun job, we all think. But now the cookies will disappear even faster, just wait and see!

How to decorate vanilla cookies with fondant icing

Make the stars and moon

Dust your workspace with icing sugar.

Roll the fondant on it.

Cut out stars of fondant.

Spread a drop water on it.

Stick the stars on the biscuits.

Cut out moons in the same way.

Stick them on the biscuits with water too.

How to make the rocket

Roll fondant to ½cm thickness.

Cut out the rocket.

Peel away the exces fondant.

Stick the rockets on the biscuits.

Roll gently when the rocket is to narrow.

Stick the rocket onto the biscuit.

Cut the point & stripes from a different colour.

Cut each base piece twice, front and back.

Stick on the fondant with a drop water.

How to make the astronauts

Cut out the astronauts.

Cut out little boots and stripes.

Knead cocoa into white fondant.

Cut out faces, stick them on.

Store the biscuits (hahaha) in a biscuit tin but serve them on a nice platter.
