How to make make a mosaic picture for Hanukkah
Meanwhile we make a pencil drawing.
We use all sorts of round objects for this.
Use three different sizes to trace semicircles.
Use the semi-circles to draw a menorah.
Meanwhile our little ones are sticking the coloured paper on.
They may stick on they cubes as they like and they do a great job!
Cut out the menorah as indicated.
Trace the loose parts onto the gold coloured cardstock.
Cut out all the parts neatly and put them together.
When the menorah is complete and the glue of the pasted tissue paper has dried, you can stick the menorah on
Stick the foot of the menorah straight on the mosaic.
Then stick on the arms on both sides.
Draw lines on thick white paper, those will be the candles.
Cut out the nine candles.
Stick them on the menorah.
Let the glue dry a moment.
Cut out 9 golden flames.
Stck the flames on the candles and let the glue dry.
Ask your Mum if she has a picture frame for your artwork.
Wishing you a happy Hanukkah!
