What a beautiful day it is and how wonderful for our city children that there is a farm like Schieveen for them. In addition to the animals and the hay, there is a nice water playground, they can take rides on the horses and there are toy tractors for the little ones to cross around the yard with.
There are seats with umbrellas for moms and dads, with a view on the kids who are having a great time. The coffee is delicious and you can look at the wild flowers or the wide countryside. So relaxing! Many people come by bicycle, but there is also enough parking space. It's always so much fun in Schieveen!
The baby goats are also tired from playing, they lie comfortably together in the hay. We go outside, there is this cute piggy who loves visitors! Puk loves it, he is so cute.
Now we go in search of ice cream, then we can sit outside in the sun for a moment, before they close the farm. Admission is free at Schieveen, but you can buy delicious ice cream and food and drinks here.
