For spattering with Ecoline watercolour the kids use cheap tea strainers and old toothbrushes. Place the toothbrushes overnight in a jar of water with bleach or sterilize them on the hob.
The kids spatter happily but spattering takes some time when using a tea-strainer, you only cover a small area at a time.
The little ones also love to spatter, it is fun to mess with paint and you get a nice result. All you need are some Autumn leaves.
You can thin Ecoline with water. Because this paint is water based, it is easy to remove of little hands.
Of course, you can use all kinds of other things to spatter around. For example, shells, different twigs or dried flowers. But you can also draw something yourself, maybe a dinosaur or different shapes, you can imagine all sorts of things!
