2 apples, stems removed
100g milk chocolate
1½ teaspoons sunflower oil
50g white chocolate
½ teaspoon sunflower oil
8 wooden popsicle sticks
For Halloween we are making a fun, tasty treat, Spiderweb Lolipops. We dip apple slices in chocolate and decorate them with white chocolate spider webs. This treat is for Halloween after all. These lollipops are easy to make but not ready quickly, because the chocolate has to set for a while!
How to make Spider lWeb Lollipops
Cut the chocolate into small pieces.
Melt the chocolate au bain marie with the oil.
Remove it from the heat and stir it.
Place a sheet waxed paper on a baking tray.
Wash the apples and rub them dry.
Cut the apples into thick slices.
Make a cut in the underside of the slices.
Dip the lollipop sticks in the chocolate and then stick them into the apple slices
Let the sticks dry a minute.
Dip the apple in the chocolate.
Tap off the excess of chocolate.
Melt the white chocolate too.
Remove from the heat and stir a moment.
Spoon the melted chocolate into a piping bag.
Cut a small tip off the piping bag.
Pipe white chocolate circles on the apple slices.
Drag a skewer through the circles, from the inside to the outside.
Allow the chocolate to set completely and your popsicles are ready!
