On Etsy we came across these cookie cutters from Starwars. We ordered them right away and they soon arrived. We started using them right away for our snazzie / Star Wars fans and the biscuits turned out to be too cute. The mini monsters are so happy with them ;)
How to make Starwars biscuits
Weigh the flour.
Mix butter and sugar creamy.
Mix in the egg.
Add the sieved flour.
Fold it into the mixture.
Knead the dough quickly.
Wrap the dough in cling film.
Place the dough in the fridge and let it rest forr minimal 2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 170°C
Sprinkle flour on your work space.
Roll the dough to 1.5 cm thickness.
Cut out the biscuits.
Place them on baking paper.
Place the biscuits another 15 minutes in the fridge before baking, that prevents them running out.
Bake the biscuits for 10 - 12 minutes until light brown.
Allow them to cool on a wire rack.
Cut Darth Vader from black icing fondant and he is ready.
Cut BB8 from white icing and cut out orange cirkels.
Stick them on using water then draw details on the droid.
Decorate R2D2 in the same way, paint C3PO gold.
Stick the icing on the biscuits with a drop of water.
We leave a few biscuits undecorated, not everyone likes icing.
