The Star Bearer is a wonderful book. The story is based on the hieroglyphs carved in stone in the royal pyramids. It is a moving story, beautifully written by South African author Dianne Hofmeyr.
The book is illustrated by the London-born and now in South Africa located writer/illustrator Jude Daly. Her soft coloured, imaginative drawings fits the story perfectly. A lovely read we recommend warmly!
