These little black wandering dust spirits (also named Makkuro kurosuke (this means black assistant or Mr. pitch black)) who gather in empty houses were invented by Hayao Miyazaki.

The anime artist of world famous films such as Princess Mononoke and My Neighbor Totoro. On the internet you can find the Susuwatari in many ways, homemade as slippers for example. Today, we make cookies with the little ones, without cooking or baking but with lots of chocolate. Yummy!

How to make Makkuro kurosuke

Bring some water to the boil.

Put a plate with chocolate on the pan.

Knead the fondant icing until it's soft.

Roll balls and cut them in half.

Press black pupils on the eye whites.

When the chocolate is molten, stir it.

Get the dark sprinkles out already.

Strike molten chocolate on the Oreo's.

Scatter chocolate sprinkles on the cookies, stick in eyes.
