Swinging Christmas is a wonderful book by the French artist and writer Benjamin Lacombe. A moving story about friendship and heartbreak. The book is about the young boy Robin, who has a vague fear of books. A special encounter with an old man changes Robin's mind. Thanks to the old Bernard Robin discovers the Jazz music and he finds joy in reading.
Included with the book is a CD with well-known American Christmas classics. The songs are beautifully sung by the French pop singer Olivia Ruiz. Book and CD are an asset and not just for mini-monsters, we also enjoy both. The book has made us fans of Benjamin Lacombe and Olivia Ruiz! ;)
