2 tablespoons low-salt soy sauce
1 tablespoon clear honey
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 tablespoon mirin (optional)
a little sunflower oil
300g long-stem broccoli
4 x 100g salmon fillets
1 small piece of ginger,grated
spring onions, sesame seeds and
cooked rice, to serve
Today we make a delicious light fish dish from Japan: Teriyaki salmon parcels and we cook some rice to go with it. The salmon packages are ready quickly and very tasty! Before cooking the rice, check what it says on the package, the cooking times differ depending on the type of rice you use.
How to make the salmon parcels
Clean the vegetables, wash them and let drain well.
Peel the garlic clove and press it.
Now make the marinade / the sauce.
Neasure the soy saus and put it in a small bowl
Press and add the garlic.
Add the honey as well.
Stir the sauce until combined and set aside.
How to make the parcels
Brush oil on the aluminum foil.
Put broccoli, salmon and ginger in the packet..
Fold the parcels closed tightly.
Bake the parcels for 15-20 minutes.
Meanwhile cut the spring onions.
Fetch the sauce and sesame seeds.
Cook and drain the rice.
Let the salmon parcels rest for a few minutes and then put them on the plates.
Everyone opens their parcel and sprinkles with onion, seeds and sauce to taste.
