This little boy is not only afraid of the dark but also of all kinds of other things. The story does not have a grandmother who comes up with a clever solution, but a painting by Henri Rousseau helps Tom overcome his fears.
The story is told in an exciting way and the beautiful coloured pencil drawings by Jesse Hodgson fit in perfectly. Beautifully published by Christofoor, with a hard cover and golden letters, this book is an asset to a children's bookcase. It certainly makes a beautiful gift!
